| Diuretic Uses For the relief of temporary water weight gain, bloating, swelling and full feeling, plus temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with the premenstrual and menstrual periods. Helps promptly increase the outflow of temporary excess body water to relieve monthly bloat, puffiness, swelling and water weight gain, related tension, 'blues' and irritability. Helps relieve menstrual associated pain and discomforts of cramps, spasms, backache, headache, muscular aches, breast tenderness and pains due to overexertion, stress and strain. Calcium fortified. Caffeine free. Directions (Adults) Take two (2) pills with a glass of water after meals (up to 4 times daily). Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. Start taking 5 or 6 days before onset of period and continue until desired relief is obtained or end of period. NOTE: The appearance of golden-tinted urine which may occur after taking DIUREX-2 Water Pills is a normal and temporary effect. Warnings DIUREX-2 Water Pills with Calcium are intended for use by normally healthy adult persons only. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take magnesium salicylate or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Magnesium salicylate may cause stomach bleeding. If taking any other medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this or any other medications. Persons under 18 years of age or those with impaired kidney function should use only as directed by a physician. Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Do not use this product for more than 10 consecutive days or take this product for pain for more than 10 days or for fever for more than 3 days unless directed by a doctor. If pain or fever persists or gets worse, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a doctor because these could be signs of a serious condition. Do not take this product if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin) unless directed by a doctor. If ringing in the ears or a loss of hearing occurs, consult a doctor before taking any more of this product. Do not take this product if you have stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach or stomach pain) that persist or recur, or if you have ulcers or bleeding problems, unless directed by a doctor. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. DRUG INTERACTION PRECAUTION: Do not take this product if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout, or arthritis unless directed by a doctor.
