Laxative Uses As a laxative, for relief of occasional constipation. As a purgative, for use as part of a bowel cleansing regimen in preparing for surgery, x-ray or endoscopic examination. Stop using this product and consult a doctor if you: have rectal bleeding or have no bowel movement after use as dehydration may occur. These symptoms may indicate a serious condition.
